SoCal Cool Body is an aesthetic enhancement practice located in Palm Desert, California. We offer CoolSculpting® to give patients a new body contour just by freezing the fat. Patrick Moore, MD, FACS started his premedical education at the University of Notre Dame, graduating with a B.S. in Chemistry. In 1990, he received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed a 5 year residency in General Surgery.
Dr. Moore currently resides in Temecula, CA. Here, he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Lauren and their 3 children: Aidan (19), Amanda (18) and Keara (16). An important member of the family is an energetic yellow Lab named Gunner. When Dr Moore has free time, he is guaranteed to be spending time with his family. Together, they like to adventure outdoors, layout by the pool and go to the movies.
La’Rue has been in the cosmetic field for over 15 years. She has worked in the field as a clinical supervisor at a wellness center, as a surgical assistant and cosmetic consultant at numerous cosmetic surgery centers, and has numerous years of helping clients achieve their cosmetic goals.
She has been around CoolSculpting® since 2013 and has seen results from thousands of cycles. Prior to CoolSculpting®, she felt there was nothing comparable that was noninvasive to get results similar. Her extensive knowledge in seeing the “phases” of CoolSculpting® helps to ensure clients get the results they want to achieve.
La’Rue loves traveling, reading, and writing poetry. A native of Southern California, she currently resides in the city of Palm Desert.
Elizabeth is our Lead Coolsculpting Technician at SoCal Cool Palm Desert as well as a licensed esthetician. Her philosophy is the body is a temple that we need to take care of as a luxury. With this in mind she finds joy in seeing the way Coolsculpting is able to sculpt the body without surgery. She takes satisfaction in being able to enhance the clients natural beauty to inspire confidence from within. She specializes in Coolsculpting, body treatments and much more. An avid learner you can always see her learning new skills and techniques in order to give her clients optimal results. Elizabeth has attended Coolsculpting University and has an eye for contouring the body with Coolsculpting.
When Elizabeth is not busy helping to enhance natural beauty, you can find her in the Coachella Valley spending time with her family, friends and chihuahuas.

CoolSculpting® is an FDA-approved treatment that uses a fat-freezing device that pulls the predetermined treatment area between the cooling panels to cool the fat cells. This process is called cryolipolysis, and it causes crystals to form on the fat cells without freezing or damaging the surrounding skin, nerves, or vessels. The treated fat cells are immediately destroyed and then naturally eliminated from your body over the next few months. At SoCalCoolBody, we are committed to you and your Coolsculpting results. If at 4 months, post your last treatment day, we are not seeing the anticipated changes, and you have completed your treatment plan and maintained your original treatment day weight, schedule an appointment with us. At this 4-month follow-up appointment, we will take photos and your current weight. If at month 5, post your last treatment day, you are still at your original first treatment day weight and still have NOT shown any changes from your treatments, we will retreat those same areas for FREE. So you can appreciate your results It is important for you to do your part so Coolsulpting can successfully eliminate the fat cells because Coolsculpting works with you ~ not for you. Although highly unlikely, it is possible that you will not experience a reduction of fat even after the free treatments are completed. If this is the case, there are no subsequent free treatments or refunds.
