LATISSE® is a prescription medication that is applied to the lash line to promote growth. It is a clinically proven technique that makes eyelashes longer, thicker, and darker. LATISSE® got its start from a medication called Lumigan that treated glaucoma. The eyelash growth was an unexpected side effect of Lumigan, which led to the creation of LATISSE®. LATISSE® is the only eyelash growth serum approved by the FDA.
Patients are encouraged to apply LATISSE® in the evening before bed. This gives the serum optimal time to settle into the skin without being disturbed. However, if the morning is more convenient for you and your lifestyle, then that is fine. Just be sure to apply the serum onto a clean face and wait 15 to 20 minutes before putting on any lotions or makeup.
It is very important that you follow all instructions provided with the medication, but these simple steps will help you when applying your LATISSE® serum.
Though very rare, some side effects that may be experienced include:
It may take up to two months to notice any improvement in the length and thickness of your eyelashes. If you use LATISSE® intermittently, then it may take longer to show any results. As long as you continue to use LATISSE®, you will see noticeable results. If LATISSE® is stopped, then your lashes will eventually return to their normal state. Continued used of LATISSE® will provide you with the lashes of your dreams and will highlight your gorgeous eyes!

At SoCalCoolBody, we are committed to you and your Coolsculpting results. If at 4 months, post your last treatment day, we are not seeing the anticipated changes, and you have completed your treatment plan and maintained your original treatment day weight, schedule an appointment with us.
