LATISSE® is an FDA-approved serum that is designed to promote hair growth. This process is safe and effective as it is performed topically on the upper lash line. It is so safe, in fact, that it was originally used as a medication, called Lumigan, to treat glaucoma. A prescription for LATISSE® is needed in order to obtain the product, so a consultation with Dr. Moore is necessary to achieve long, beautiful lash results. Once you have a prescription, the topical serum can be applied at home.
Consistency Is Key
It is important to be consistent with your LATISSE® application. Once you start the process, we recommend that you continue with it to achieve and maintain those longer, thicker lashes. If you stop, the lashes will not grow anymore and will eventually go back to the starting point. That’s the beauty of this product! If you want to stop it, then stop it. There is no harm in starting and stopping. After you have used this product for about two months, you can skip days if you want to slow down on the results without stopping them completely.
Keeping a consistent routine is good for the lashes and also easier for you to remember to put the serum on. The application should be performed at night time so that the LATISSE® eyelash serum can be absorbed completely. LATISSE® should be used one time per day, typically when you go to sleep, along the upper lash line.
Candidacy for Achieving Longer Lashes
